Rangers Lose Opener

Going in we should have known and perhaps on some level did know that this was going to be a work in progress.   And that's just what it looked like tonight.  As in the preseason, Marc Staal was the only guy who could score.   Which if it keeps up will see players trying to block pucks with their faces all over the league.   He didn't score this much before, but of course he's in a new system, and now he's allowed to.   Anyway he did and everyone else missed. I will say this, though, at times the passing was better than anything I've seen from the Rangers in years.   That will turn into goals at some point.  Hopefully some point soon.   But it's good to have the boys back, and they will improve.
