Rangers Opening Night

It's finally here.   The Rangers will open their 2010-14 season tonight in Phoenix.   It's just the first of the nine consecutive road games they will play while the Garden gets its phase 3 work finished.   Points will be at a premium.    The bottom two lines are Boyle with Pyatt and Fast, and Moore with Miller and Dorsett.    The 4th line looks more useful.   It will be interesting to see how free-wheeling the offense will be, or whether we'll still see vestiges of the old, dump and chase and try to block everything style, that got them to the conference finals two years ago.   How quickly can they adjust, especially without Cally and Hags?

Fortunately, the longer season will be a little more forgiving than last year's mad dash was, but they have to learn to win under this new system, and they might as well start tonight.      Maybe it's just my natural optimism but I think Stepan and Nash will have big games.    Let's Go, Rangers!
