Stepan Signs

The Rangers today announced that they had come to terms with Derek Stepan on a two year bridge deal.    The deal is said be worth with just North of 3M per.   Obviously this was a must sign for the Rangers and makes them a much better team, but why did it have to take so long?    We'd be a much better prepared team if Richards was gone and Stepan had been through camp with the team.  We'll see what kind of shape he's in.

The Rangers are now slightly over the cap but that will be fixed with final cuts.  And speaking of final cuts,  the Wolfpack is going to have a lot of good players to start the season.
