Nova Stays Super

Ivan Nova had a shutout going with two outs in the 8th, then walked a bad hitter, who took 2nd on defensive indifference, then scored on a Hosmer double.   Nova then got the third out. So it was another terrific performance for Nova, and once again he had a sick curveball.  Overall he gave up 5 hits, 1 run, 6Ks and 2bb's.   Just fantastic for the second time in a row.  If he can become this kind of pitcher -- and he's had that kind of talent -- he could be a long term solution.    Let's see if he's stepped up to another level.  It does happen.
