Giants Offseason: Reaching Out to Leach?

Well Cruz is still holding out. but Nicks has show up to mini-camp.   And the Giants are apparently reaching out to the recently cut Vonta Leach to fill the hole left by Hynoski's injury.    I believe the Giants have tried to get Leach before, so maybe something can be done.  At one time he was probably the best fullback in a league that doesn't use a lot of fullbacks anymore.   I don't know what's left in the tank, but Leach would probably be a decent bandage while they wait to get Hynoski back.  Let's see if he finally comes in, or whether he once again uses Giant interest to find a better deal.
