Rangers Promote Maxwell

The Rangers today announced the promotion of Kevin Maxwell to Director of Pro Personnel. Maxwell had been scouting for the Rangers during the Clark era, and apparently back when Clark was with the Islanders. With Gorton moving up to Assistant GM, it's good they were able to fill the slot with someone who knows the culture and what the Rangers are trying to do. I remember Maxwell as a scrappy little C. If he's been involved with this string of solid to outstanding drafts, we shouldn't miss a beat. Go Rangers!
