ARod Opts For Surgery
ARod will have his knee scoped tomorrow and may miss four weeks or so. This wouldn't be so bad if Eric Chavez was healthy -- though he is apparently feeling better. The All-Star break takes half a week out of it, and they will have a few off days. Nunez and Pena will probably hold the fort till ARod or Chavez is back. I wouldn't expect them to make a trade. Go Alex!

Pray that Chavez gets back sooner rather than later.
I would say give Laird a shot.
Perhaps boost his trade value to a small market team.
Maybe they will. Laird's been hot.
