Arbitration

It appears that Ryan Callahan, Brandon Dubinsky, and Brian Boyle have all opted for arbitration. Now this does not mean they will ever get to arbitration, but no one can sign any of the three to offer sheets now that they have opted for arb. Artem Anisimov and Michael Sauer are not eligible, but should sign soon, just the same.

In other news, Jeff Gorton who had been assistant head of player personnel was promoted to assistant GM, filling the spot created by Cam Hope's departure. Good luck, Jeff!

UPDATE: I was wrong above. Sauer can and did file for arbitration.

Sather said this wont be an issue, so lock them up! I still believe we need an LW for Brad and Gabby despite Sather's claims

I'm not sure they're gonna get a LW now. Seems like Richards was instrumental in getting Feds back and might want him doing the dirty work on line 1. Also, I don't think they want to block Kreider.

I do think they will make a trade or two, but I'm not sure it will be for a front line LW.
