It's On!

July 1 is the day the Rangers are free to pursue Brad Richards. Of course, the deal is more important than the player in this and all Ranger FA's deals going forward. They have to maintain the flexibility to keep signing their young core players, both the ones who are already Rangers and the ones who are on the way. So getting Richards for 7 or under and 5 years or under is of paramount importance in setting this team up. It's also important that they sign their RFA's. In all, if I had to predict, I'd say, the new Rangers will be Richards, and some top 6 forward they will trade for. Then maybe a vet D, and some more prospect for prospect deals, as Gordie and Gorton continue to collect the ones they missed on from the passed few drafts. In any event, be smart and GO RANGERS!
