Yanks Beat Mets

Eduardo Nunez went 4-4 for the first time in his career, and Nova struggled to hold the Mets to 1 run over 5 innings as he got his 8th win. Not bad. There were some timely hits, and big defensive plays. The Yanks got a break on a tag play where it looked like Reyes was safe at third when it was still a 3-1 game. But the Yanks took advantage and added on, for their 5-1 final. Another good show for the bullpen. They can get the series win tomorrow behind Colon who will return and make the start. I'll have another Yankee thread up in a few minutes. Go Yanks!
