Camp Opens

Camp opened today, for the first time ever at the new Meadowlands. Everyone showed up except Osi, who is pondering his inanity, and Prince Amakamura who has not signed his royal contract yet. Jacobs restructured, while they are still trying to re-sign Bradshaw and Boss. Bernard may be restructuring, after all, and it might be wise with all of the released DTs who just entered the market. Seems the big news today is that Plax will arrive at the complex around 6 and meet with Coughlin, then if that goes well, with Reese and the owners, too. Jerry Reese made it very clear in interviews today that the Giants are serious about Plax. the Giants are also said to be in the mix for Vonta Leach.

UPDATE: Rocky Bernard has been CUT. Not to worry, though, there are tons of veteran DT's out there should one be needed.

FURTHER UPDATE: Plax met with Coach Coughlin and possibly others for 90 minutes, then left. Neither side spoke to the media.
