MLB FA Opens at Midnight
Get Lee and only make good trades, Yanks! They must keep Montero, Betances, Banuelos and Sanchez. It would also be nice if they named a pitching coach. Or just let Lee pick one. Go Yanks!

Phil you think its a foregone conclusion Lee will be a Yankee?
Who else is going to match the cheddah the Yankees will give him?
good point Mike, unless he wants to stay in Texas... Like Phil says I want Lee and smart trades!!!
Lee has turned down several extensions from multiple teams in order to hit free agency. Make no mistake, this will come down to one thing: Money.
as it always does Mike comes down to $$$. That said I think the Yanks will make a run at Crawford also, with Anaheim as the fave.
Lee is a huge need. I wanted Halladay but did not want to part with Montero. My next choice was Lee. I hope we resign Andy too. Spend the money on Cliff Lee.
Hindsight is 20/20, but if we could have had Halladay for Hughes and Chamberlain after 2009, I make that trade.
Mike, I agree, but only in hindsight. Halladay is a known quantity and a bulldog but we all had very high expectations for our two kids,
I would love to sign Soriano.
Buck, Downs, Benoit, Lee....but not in that order.
They likely can't assure Buck of enough playing time.
Downs would help at the right price, but the problem is that if they vastly overpay Jeter they won't have the money to sign Downs.
It's Lee or bust.
Jeter wants 3/45-60MM.
Cashman has informed Posada that he will DH with Montero, Cervelli and Romine fighting it out for the 2 C spots unless there is room in the budget for Buck.
This per NY Post.
also Cash is apparently flying to Arkansas to meet w Lee today, and Heyman says Cash has contacted Crawford's agent...
Doubt a formal offer is made for Lee at the meeting, but it's coming in the near future.
Crawford is simply due diligence, unless someone gets traded.
