The King of Swing!

While CC continued to drive his ERA down by picking up his 11th win by throwing 8.2 innings of 1 run, 3BB and 10K ball, ARod took care of the rest. In the 3rd, Tex was hit by a pitch to load the bases and ARod avenged him once again with a grand slam. Later he hit another homer, driving in 5 of the Yanks' 6 runs. Meanwhile, Tex made a number of great defensive plays on balls in play. Wow. The Yanks really are playing much better D this year.


On anthother note, I think the Yanks are real players for Cliff Lee, now, rather than in the offseason. We'll see what happens, but Romine and a non-Betance pitcher could do it. AJ goes tomorrow. Go Yanks!
