Yanks Lose

Vazquez continued his innefectiveness, then after the Yanks were able to take the lead, they fell victim over overmanagement. Granderson got hurt, and if he needs to go to the DL, Golson should get the call. Hughes goes tomorrow. Go Yanks.

Switch Marte and Vazquez, and fix the marginal roster construction in the OF, which, as has been obvious during the offseason, stinks.

Like to see what Golson can do in LF over a spares like Thames and Winn.

Do you mean Mitre, Rich?

Per the Daily News, Melancon is getting the callup. Which once again begs the question, why do the Yankees think they need so many relief pitchers? They can't possible spread the workload around evenly.

This team's management keeps proving it can't effectively build a balanced 25-man roster.

Melancon may only be up for a day or two. Girardi said he was worried about his pen options for tomorrow.

Yes Mitre, Mike. My bad.

Maybe my perception is off, but it seems that it’s usually the second inning of work that does in Melancon.
