Yanks Lose

The Bullpen couldn't hold onto a 2-1 they inherited from Phil Hughes with 2 out in the 6th, and the hitters, aside from Cano and Swisher, really aren't hitting. The base running could also use some work. CC goes tomorrow. Go Yanks!

Hughes's ability to battle was the bright spot.

Unless he is being kept on the roster solely to face Millwood, Winn needs to get DFA'd.

He may be cooked.

Hughes was once again pretty great. I felt he got squeezed a bit, but he hung in there. That's a very encouraging sign.

Didn't see the game, but the Hughes from two years ago wouldn't have "hung on." Good sign indeed.

The Hughes from two years ago was trying to pitch through a broken rib.
