Captain Action

Andy had some tough luck tonight between bloop hits, fan interference and a runner allowed to run out of the baseline. But he hung in there, giving up 4 runs through 6. The Yankee hitters were having equally bad luck scalding pitches right at fielders for much of the night, but Derek Sanderson Jeter felt like winning. He had a single and scored, then hit a two run homer and followed that with a two run triple which put the Yanks up for good 6-4. He must have thought he was Cano. Aceves pitched in and out of trouble in the 7th. Marte got an out in the 8th before Joba came in to get two quick ones. Mo got the save. Vazquez will try to get it going tomorrow. Go Yanks!

I don't really see it happening, either.

For whatever reason,we can't get a big hit so far, but we can still win today.

Why is Nick on the roster if one month can make Girardi think that Thames is a better option v. RHP?
