Coming Right Up?
The Cards just released Antrel Rolle, whom the Giants probably would have traded for already if not for the 9 million dollar roster bonuse he was due under his old contract. Now they're free to sign him without trading anything. Look for him or our old pal Darren Sharper to be a Giant soon. Frankly, I think it will be Rolle. I bet they like the idea of putting a couple of still young Hurricanes in the deep patrol, plus his agent is Rosenhaus. Sharper is playing on borrowed time. We'll see what happens, but I bet he's in blue soon. Go Giants!

FWIW, Dotino says Sharper holds a grudge against the Giants as a result of what he believes was an insulting offer a few years ago.
What good would a grudge serve him?
He's not the first choice, anyway.
He said it was reflected in how he played against the Giants.
OT, Hearing Francesa talk about Jeter's contract is nothing short of nauseating.
I agree w you Phil, Sharper is on the decline, I hope Rolle is a Giant, he and KP would be a sick duo. Francesa mentioned that it would be out of character for the Giants to bid on Peppers but wouldn't be surprised if they did.
I think Kampman will be the DE they bid on.

If healthy, he's a great pick up. Also, he's the favorite of the new DL coach (though he'd be any coaches favorite cause he tries so hard).
I just remembered, the S Dotino thinks the Giants should pursue is Bills' restricted FA George Wilson.
Wilson has a second round tender, that would be idiotic.
Meanwhile there's a report that Kampman's first stop is Philly.
Dotino's like most reporters. They're valuable when they get scoops.

according to Darnell Dockett he spoke to Rolle and knows what is going to happen, and he says he is speechless... this came from Twitter.
