Still Looking or Still Waiting?

Well, another day has passed and the Giants are still without a defensive coordinator, and they still employ some guilty parties on the defensive staff. Romeo Crennell now looks like he will be the new DC of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Perry Fewell, who was allowed to leave the compound for a meeting with the Bears, may be the new DC there. Now, I supose the speculation will begin that the Giants are waiting for someone in the playoffs. The linebackers coaches from both the Jets, Sutton and the Cowboys, Herring, have been mentioned in some reports. This hire will either be Tom Coughlin's anchor or his life raft, I guess we'll see. Go Giants.

They are in danger of falling behind the Jets. It's time for bold action, but Coughlin isn't bold.

I think he'd be gone if they didn't owe him 10M on his deal.

sometimes you have to bite the bullet. What's the difference to the Giants of 5 mil? If he is gone next year.. PSL, and new stadium, coming they cannot have the garbage they had this year on the field.

Rock says Perry flew home and that he will decide no lock he is going to Chicago... we can hope..

Source says Fewell has no offer from either #Bears or #NYG + was to leave Chicago to mull his options at home. No wd if he left yet.

Maybe not a formal one, but I think very specific parameters have been discussed.

I would guess he can have either job, but that's just a guess. Of course it serves his interest to either act like he has two offers or no offers.

I hope he isn't using the Giants to get more money from the Bears.
