The Dynamic Duo

The Knicks won again tonight, and they may have not one but two most improved players candidates. Both Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari are having breakout seasons. While I've always had faith in Gallo, I waivered on Chandler and was willing to trade him. While that still may be a possibility, it would have to bring quite a return, cause the kid is coming on strong.

At first I thought his improvement was due to leg health, but recent articles have reported that the coaches were really working with him on his dribble drives and several other aspects of his game that other teams were exploiting. Remember, Chandler was "raw" when we drafted him and now we're seeing what can happen to a raw guy when he gets coached up. He looks like a much more complete and effective player. One other thing about the two kids, is that they try on D, block shots and get rebounds.

And speaking of rebounds, David Lee is also one of the most improved players in the league. He was already good, but his mid-range jumper has really come along, and he may just make the all-star game. Go Knicks!

I loved the determined look on Gallo's face when he squared up for that last 3.
