What about Juan?

It's looking like Juan Miranda could be in our left DH role next season. Right now it's looking like the Yanks will only be spending big money on a left fielder and pitching, and that they won't be bringing back Matsui or putting any big money into DH types. Obviously, they'll also spend some dough on role players. But it looks like only one new salary slot for a bat and that will be the leftfielder. Whether that turns out to be Damon or someone else remains to be seen Go Yanks.

The slot's being left open for Montero, who will likely split time at catcher and DH with Posada when the bat's ready.

The bat's ready, it's the D that may not be.

In that case, they should strongly consider re-signing Matsui or signing Nick Johnson.

You missed the part about how they are only gonna spend on LF and P.

There is no excuse for a $200 million team having Juan Miranda as its DH.

He'd only be part of the DH, but he's a good hitter.
