Big Friday

So, today we should find out whether or not the Yanks have signed Burnett and/or Andy Pettitte, and if the long rumored Mike Cameron for Melky Cabrera and parts unknown trade has finally been completed.

If Burnett somehow loses his mind and chooses Atlanta the Yanks will probably move quickly to lock up Derek Lowe.

If Pettitte spurns the Yanks' final offer which was presented by Cash himself today on a side trip to Houston, the Yanks will have to decide whether to pursue Ben Sheets or just leave the rotation spot open for some combination of Hughes, Aceves and Kennedy.
If the Cameron trade stalls again, it will probably be completed next week, or the week after.
The big question will be, once the rotation has been settled, are the Yanks going to go after a patient and powerful bat for the middle of the order. Go Yanks.
