Yanks Win!

Clippard had no curveball, but Robbie Cano looks back! He had 3 doubles and a single, and his running buddy Melky had a couple of hits, too. Interestingly, Torre, who is way too laid back to begin with sought to end the losing streak by telling the guys to show up late and skip BP. It worked. Something was bound to.

Francesa and Russo are clueless. They think the Yanks are gonna just let A-Rod walk. Mike thinks they make an offer, Russo says he is just gone. I have been wondering myself the last few days with all this off-field nonsense will he leave? I sure hope he and the Yankees work something out.

They'll work something out. This season is far from over.

If the Yankees let A-Rod walk, next season could be worse than this one.

Of course, a few years ago, when the topic of whether the Yankees should sign Beltran came up, Francesa said: "Don't need him."

He has become a know nothing.

With Giambi out for the season do we accelerate our pursuit of Tex?

Francesa always has an agenda. When the Yankees sign or trade for someone he does not like then it is automatically a terrible move.

according to George King of the Post yes.

That probably means 2 weeks.

Anyway, we better not trade any of Hughes/Chamberlain/Betances looking for a bat.

I agree none of them can go. It stinks that Hughes is out longer....

The real reason it sucks that Hughes will be out this long is that he won't get to his 180 inning workload and will thus be limited next year.

I totally agree with that. He definitely has given us something to look forward to.
