Moose Redeems Himself

Moose allowed 1 run and K'd 6 in 6.1 innings of work today. He left after walking his first batter of the day, so he is responsible for that runner. He changed speeds very well today and things look good going forward. Phew. Proctor is in to get the last two outs in the 7th.

I can understand why Torre removed Moose, but I don't understand why he left Proctor in when it was clear that he had nothing, and I don't think that Mientkiewicz should have cut off Melky's throw to the plate.

It was kind of interesting that the crowd booed Torre.

There was no reason to take out Moose after one walk and leave Proctor in for three. He deserved to get booed. And my next post should we lose will be about Joe.

I'm not saying that I agree with it, only that I can understand that he wanted Moose, given how he has struggled, to leave the game on a positive note.

a walk is not a positive note. Believe me, Moose is hating him right now.

I'm ready for the Girardi era to begin.

Come on, Captain.

I don't want Mattingly.

Girardi is just as NL stupid as Torre, at least Mattingly had met Billy Martin.

let the rubmling begin. Considering I live only a few mins from the stadium I expect to hear it awfully quick. I don't see how changes are not imminent.
