Clippard Doesn't Help

Tyler Clippard is already out of the game after 4 innings of 3 run ball in his first Yankee Stadium start. He was victimized by the play of Damon and Matsui, but also gave up a homer. He didn't have good stuff and only K'd 1. DeSalvo is now in, and he's wild.

I know all of our young pitchers wont pan out, but they have all shown potential. The arrival of Clemens will be huge.

I know, I've been following his career since we picked him. He just didn't have it tonight.

I agree an off night. I like the kid's makeup.

Damon is awful tonight

We really need some right handed pop. Th eother day Francesa mentioned something about Abreu for Dye may have been discussed at one point. I don't want any part of Fuentes and Helton. I suspect that something will be brewing soon on the trade front.

Maybe, but at some point this team will go on a tear.

Shields was dominant in the 9th. Why can't Cash get a guy like that? I want to know if he even inquired about Soriano this past winter.

Bruney can be like Shields, maybe better.
