Wang beat the Sox tonight, even though he didn't have his best stuff. He went 6.1 allowing just two runs. He used more sliders and changeups than usual and got some help from Damon, Jeter, ARod (Homer), Giambi (Homer) and Cano (2B, 3B). Yanks won 6-2 and appear to be waking up.

What do you make of the Angels interest in Giambi? Is it legit or just newspaper fodder.. With Tex being on the block I suppose it could happen..
I don't want to blow up the farm for Tex given what our health situation is both in the majors and down on the farm right now.
I agree no need to blow up the farm. Especially since most of the kids have shown some promise for the future in their limited time here. If Giambi was dealt, I would guess it would be for prospects which we could use for Tex.
but if we could use the Giambi prospect for Tex, why couldn't the Angels?
very true, are they not committed to Kotchman? I guess we'd have to package the Angels prospect along with ours
yeah, just seems like too much could go wrong.
Nice piece by Kriegel on Giambi.
