Giants Today
The Giants should have Rhodes signed some time today, but apparently, Leonard Davis isn't coming in. The Giants will probably sign Mike Gandy for depth and let Diehl and Whimper compete at left tackle. That's far from bad in my book. Now the Giants have lots to spend on LB's, a DT and a TE. Go Giants.
UPDATE: Dominic Rhodes has left Giants Central without a contract! This could mean a few things: 1) the Giants realized they could do better in the draft. 2) the Giants got a call about one of their trade proposals or 3) Reese is as bad as closing a deal as Ernie was. All be 3 would be good news.

Well, they got Rhodes. And though I don't want him, they are 1-2 on offensive targets, so far. But, yeah, let's hope they can get some LB's and a DT.

I have to agree Rhodes does not do it for me, I'm hoping for better results on the D and that Ralph V is wrong with his blog
Rhodes will probably won't make any big plays, but hopefully he won't totally suck...
Was this a we are in love with him move or we can't get anyone else we want move, b/c I am not sure why they think this is any kind of upgrade.
I don't think they think it's an upgrade, I think they couldn't make and agreement with the Bills or Lions. I think they just want to pace Jacobs' carries.

Why is it so difficult for the Giants to make an agreement teams and or free agents? It seems other teams do not have this same problem...

not so far. But I have heard the Rhodes thing was looking good - if any of us would consider having him good - until they sat down to talk #'s. The Jets are supposedly also involved with him now.

Is TC really the reason Davis did not want to come? I dont see that the Skins or Boys are much better off then we are. This is very odd how we called him numerous times today but he refused to come.
who knows? We had the biggest offer and he wouldn't come in.
Clayton said Davis wanted $24 million guaranteed from the Cowboys.
