Quinn Pulls Out of Ranger Search

It's bad enough that the Knicks hired the kind of coach they said they were not looking for, but the Rangers now seem to be on the same path.  There is something really wrong at MSG, if they are losing coaches like Montgomery to expansion crap like Dallas, and having BU's Coach Quinn pull out of the search.  These are the most valuable franchises in their respectice sports, and either can't make timely decisions, or can't attract the best candidates.  This is horrific.

Rangers also signed Finnish right shot, Ville Meskanen today. He's another overage more goals than assists guy, who apparently still buys the old myths of MSG.

I believe the Rangers don't need a big time coach, they are in rebuild, so any coach they hire likely will not be here when they are making a move for the SC. I think the next 3-5 years is about building the base, still compete to a certain extent. We need a coach that sees that and will PLAY the young players, regardless of mistakes.
