Stackhouse in NYC for his Knicks Meeting

I find myself excited by this news.  The Rangers are looking FRESH and the Knicks might find it with Stackhouse. He's a great communicator and his player development skills have gained broad recognition in the D and G Leagues.  They might want to hire him a defensive coordinator as an assistant, or they may not need to. He comes from Dean Smith at UNC and that is one of the classic American programs.  This might be fun, and it might be FRESH.

He was a big name player who was willing to start his coaching career at the bottom. That shows he is committed.

He's got Dean Smith quotes up on the walls of the locker room, and invites the team over to his house for cookouts and to talk hoops. He also preaches D. There are a few good youtubes of him coaching and they got my really excited.

Berman says Stackhouse is the Magic’s top choice and that a Jackson/Woodson combo is possible here. Shoot me.

Too much Dolan involvement:

A 1 for Budenholzer would be much much worse and the Giants not taking a quarterback at 1, and I really really want quarterback at one.
