Yanks Win

Gary Sanchez snapped out of his early season doldrums with two homers and a double, and the Yanks just won 10-7.Yankee cold weather pitching has been an adventure but things will warm up. Stanton also had a triple and a single and is warming up.  Judge continues to get on base about half the time,  Tyler Austin is a true Yankee.  Sure he drove in a run tonight, but he also exchanged words with Brock Holt after a clean but hard slide. Later, Red Sox reliever Joe Kellly hit Tyler in the elbow with the 98 mph fastball, and Tyler charged. The Red Sox are lucky that Judge and Stanton worked as peace keepers, because Austin, Phil Nevins and CC Sabathia were ready to rumble. I wonder if this will be an event that closely melds the young Yankees with their new coaching staff.  Nevin had their backs.  DRob came flying in from the bullpen several yards ahead of the other guys. Something very Yankee about all of this.

Boring "brawl" over a slide that didn't even look that bad. Whatever. Glad Sanchez and Stanton showed out.

Sanchez is the key to this team.

Holt didn’t want to fight Austin. That is why there was a brawl, which the umps could have prevented because any sentient person saw it coming.
