Knicks Also Reached Out to Jerry Stackhouse
This is a little more like it. The Knicks have also reached out to former UNC and NBA star Jerry Stackhouse who is currently the head coach of the Raptors 905 of the G League. Since winding up his long NBA career, Stackhouse was a broadcaster for awhile before going into coaching. So we know he can talk. He was an assistant with Toronto before taking over their D League and now G League team. He played for a lot of different NBA teams, and played his college ball for the great Dean Smith. He's won coach of the year awards in what is a developmental league no matter the name. If they can't get Jay Wright, Stackhouse, or a similar candidate is probably the way they'd be best served going. He lacks baggage.

I have no strong favorite except a top college coach. IOW, a Brad Stevens model. Wright fits that but why coach this mess?
Why are you so against Jackson. I view him like Van Gundy: a coach who can change the culture but can’t get you over the top.
Jackson is awful He played ISO ball with a great team, that started winning titles as soon as he left and they shared to ball. He cheated on his wife with a stripped and then became a lay minister, who starts preaching at his hostages (team). He wouldn't talk to Jerry West, and everyone in Golden State ended up hating him. He's a despicable human being and I want him nowhere near this team.
Now, while the Knicks have been a mess, they are still the most valuable franchise in the league, with some young talent and all of their picks coming up, Anyone who know how to do it would be an idiot not to do it in NYC.
Thanks
Knicks have received permission to talk to Clippers AC Mike Woodson. I've seen this flick before.
Woj: Fizdale, Stackhouse, Jackson
