Knicks Will Meet With David Blatt

This also makes some sense.  Earlier, Woj announced that the Knicks have gained permission to talk to Woodson, and now he's saying they have a meeting with fomer Cleveland and Euro championship coach of the year, David Blatt.  This guy is Steve Mills bro, and if they are looking to have a leadership team, getting someone like Blatt with some good assistants could work.

As I said, a Brad Stevens clone, and be as pathetic as Ainge has been

Few things in sports infuriate me more than the BS that New York won’t tolerate rebuilding (I am reading it about the Giants now).

Right but we will tolerate mediocrity or worse year after year. I mean the Giants have one playoff appearance and six seasons, and people somehow think that’s real?

How stupid are these people?

As good and as Boston and Philly are, they can’t even pretend if they aren’t patient.

Rich, agree with your opinion and this also sticks in my craw. Reporters that do that reporting are being good soldiers for team ownership, blame the fans. What it comes down to is the risk of losing paying customers temporarily if you are bad long enough to do a rebuild. I don't see that ever happening in NYC, too many hardcore fans who live for their teams. Look at the Knicks, as long as they are losing they still sell out. Dolan loved mediocrity because he got extra $$ for just being in the playoffs.

Doesn't feel like they have a Brad Stevens clone on their list.

Blatt has played for Carril, who's one of the all time greats and is comfortable win international players.
