Rangers Sign C Pirri, Trade Must be on the Way

The Rangers further scotchguarded their forward depth today by signing 25 year old C Brandon Pirri.  It's a one year deal worth 1.1M for the former second rounder.  Pirri was considered one of the top remaining FA's and one of the few with remaining upside.  Nice move, but even last week when they landed Vesey they had too many forwards, and it looked like a trade for D was on the way.  Now we sort of know it.  The question is which D, and which forwards will it cost?

We should know soon.  It'll probably be a righty with playmaking skills.
