Yanks Win

Mason Williams had two doubles and Gardy homered as the Yanks came back from a 3-1 deficite and clobberd the Marlns 9-4.  McCann was 3-4 and ARod had two hits leaving him one shy of 3,000.  Drew is still awful and should be gone.  CC actually contributed a "quality" start, though Shreve got the win.   Still a needed win, and they got it.

SI starts tomorrow!

Martin and Girardi need to go as well.

Whatever I think of the GM, another manager could benefit him.

Oh and Grego's play on the 9th should not be overlooked.

I heard he was a wiz in the field. Good for him. (And Mason.)

Also, Lawyer, hate on Martin all you want, but don't be hating on Coldplay -- or at least, early 2000s Coldplay.

I was in high school during their heyday, so call it Golden Age syndrome if you wish. They've been sort of hit or miss since their first two albums, though they still put out some good tunes.

I give Martin a few more games. he really is just returning from a DL stint and perhaps is not back at full strength yet. Maybe 4-5 more appearances.
