Rangers: Hank Out a Month

Though Ranger goalie Henrik Lundqvist did not suffer a concussion, the has been suffering through headaches,  and so the Rangers are shutting him down for a month.   This probably means they will pick up another goalie, because young McKenzie Skapsi, needs to be down in Hartford playing. It's unclear if that will mean another trade - or if the Rangers will reach out to a retired guy or FA.  It would be a shame to have to use assets to solve this problem.

If a month is what it takes to get Hank fully back, then they're lucky because that was an ugly point of contact with the puck.

blessing in disguise, HL will be fresh in the playoffs. I'd like to see what he can do.

Marty Biron anyone?

Seriously, I am not sure what they can do. Marty Brodeur? WHo knows.

But send the kid down. He needs to play, not sit up here.
