Yanks: Cashman said they would address the hitting coach and first base coach positions after New Year's, so that could be any time after Wednesday, I guess. They will also continue reoganizing their minor league system, and waiting on Yoan Moncada.
Rangers: Rangers get back to work tonight. They're going for their 8th straight and hopefully won't be distracted by the inane management accross the Hudson. They're still in the no movement stage, I think. But that could end any time now.
Giants: This is the big one. The Giants season will end tomorrow and the owners will either fire the Head Coach, or some of his coaches. It's really that simple. If it's everyone, then we have a massive coach hunt, if it's just Fewell and maybe some others, we have a lesser but still important coach hunt. Tomorrow, we should also know our final draft position -- and that will allow us to start planning.
Knicks: Seemed like they would start trading in Deccember and December is almost over.
So, the Rangers have to keep winning, and the Yanks and Giants have to make good decisions. The Knicks are off the clock until their draft, so anything they do will be a surprise. Have a great week and the happiest of New Years.

I would be shocked if Coughlin and Reese are fired, although I think they should be (you could call Coughlin's exit something else, of course).
So I think the issues are Fewell, as you mentioned; do they make any mention of McAdoo being the heir apparent and according to what timetable; and is Ross fired, which I believe may be the most important thing they could do.
I think one possibility is to make McAdoo Asst. Head Coach, which would certainly send a signal.
The problem with firing Ross now is that the last two drafts have been crushed. And a lot of the drafts that weren't good were destroyed by injuries - not bad picking.
They sold out the Pinstripe Bowl for the first time in it's 5th iteration.
Good Ranger win but wtf AV? Sitting Miller??
Miller has to play!! AV is so stubborn...I don't care if Nothing else changes with the Giants but Fewell has to go.PLEASE
Do we think Reese will be aggressive in free agency? OL safety and LB top needs?
