Rangers Lose More than Game

The Rangers just via the shootout, but worse than that, in the first period of tonight's game, they lost their Captain Ryan McDonagh to a separated shoulder off a questionable hit toward the boards by Evander Kane.   The Rangers had also lost Kevin Klein for the game in the first two minutes.   A separated shoulder is a big injury and who knows how long McD will be out?   We'll probably see a move or two.

As for the game; it's looking more and more like Martin St. Louis has a big fork sticking out of his back as a scorer.  He blew the best chance they got in regulation and seemed to lack confidence with a half-assed attempt.

It's good they got a point, as collecting them will be a lot tougher if they are down McD for weeks of months.

For awhile? For the year. It's for Hayes and to make room for Stepan.
