Knicks Decline Options on Shumpert and Larkin

Knicks really are going for Max Room in July   Today, they declined to extend the deals of Iman Shumpert and Shane Larkin just to preserve the room it buys them.  Iman will become an RFA and Larkin will be a UFA.  Of course, if they become essential this year, they could eat up some of that war chest come July.  I don't think they're bailing on development.  I think they have a plan in place.

Yep, the Smith for Copeland rumored trade would free up more space next year. Too bad Durant is 2016 eligible.
