The Knicks Are Now Down 30 in the 4th...
The Knicks are getting slaughtered tonight in their home opener against the Bulls. Nobody looks very good, and the young players, including Hardaway, have looked lost, and tentative, while aggressively committing dumb fouls. Good thing this year doesn't matter. Sad thing the NBA salary cap and rules have created seasons like this for most franchises.

Would be nice if they stink to do it royally to get a top 5 pick.
It's a process so I can be patient. They are thinking instead of reacting.
Much of their problems can be traced to: 1) Grunwald blowing the amnesty on Billups just a couple of months after his extension was picked up, thereby not having it for Amar'e; 2) wasting picks thru bad selections and trades, and the Andrea fiasco that Grunwald clusterfucked, still looms.
LAwyer;
You are so very correct, especially with #2. Those bad picks go back 20 years.
I recently saw an article on the Knicks and their past xx number of first round selections (even the ones traded). It was pathetic, to say the least.
It's funny (in a perverse way). Isiah Thomas' drafting ability stands out in comparison to most of his predecessors and successors, but he blew his highest pick (Frye, who he once compared to Duncan) and he traded the other high picks he had for Marbury and Curry (he could have had Noah if he had stood pat).
But David Lee, in particular, was the best Knick draft pick since maybe Ewing, or at least Mark Jackson, depending on how you view his career, and Ariza, Chandler, and Robinson were good picks as well.
LINJ;
Someone told me a couple of years ago that 1 of the picks he traded for Curry was moved again, and turned in to a top 5 pick in the draft.
