Knicks Win

The Knicks just won another tight game.  This one was particular tight because some of their better defenders got into early foul trouble after the Knicks built a 15 point lead in the second quarter.  They also stopped piling up the assists and did too much standing around on O.   Stat had a very good line, going 17 and 10, but he still cannot and should not be asked to guard real NBA Centers like Jefferson.  Melo had another strong game.  JR was under control but missed too many shots and free throws.  They're not getting to the line enough, as a team, or individually.  Still it was a good win against a team that was a playoff team last year and added more talent this year.   Any win is a good win this year, so this should be counted as one, but they have to keep improving and get more consistent.
