Giants Lose Again

Another Giant game, another disgraceful loss.   What's more; Weston Richburg, the promising rookie OL was carted off in the third quarter with an ankle.  And that was after Prince Amukamara left the game in the first with a biceps injury.  Once again, they were not only outplayed, but seemed to be out-coached.

At one point, they gave up a touchdown, while waiting for Tom Coughlin to pull the challenge flag from his sock regarding the previous play.  I'm not kidding, this really happened.   The Colts scored while the Giants were all watching the coach.   They failed to challenge later on a play which lead to a TD on the next play.    What were they doing for two weeks?

There were also a multitude of drops by Giant receivers. Not to mention an irrational insistence on forcing the run game when the OL couldn't open holes.  The new offense has not yet gotten rolling, if it ever is to roll.

Corey Washington got in in the late 4th quarter and caught everything thrown to him, including his first NFL TD.   They really couldn't figure out a way to get this mismatch on the field till now?

The owners have to start thinking seriously about making some major changes.

Remember when Coughlin dissed Fassel by implying that injuries are a state of mind? He should reconsider.

He may have been a pontificating blowhard, but this franchise brought in way more talent under Accorsi.

It is time to clean house...no matter what. Top to bottom. It is a clear cut issue.

Oh and Coughlin said that he was doing anything he could to prevent the Colts from getting a play off quickly on that potential challenge, as he said they usually do (but he somehow forgot about a timeout?) and he said that he kept the flag in his sock because his pants don't have pockets this time of the season.

No really.

Sad.

That was pathetic and made it look like he was over the hill.

No to Cowher. Someone at their peak and a new GM too.

I want the next Chip Kelly.

Jim Harbaugh would be nice too, but my guess is that Mara thinks he doesn't play well enough with others.

Nobody likes Harbaugh, and he's probably out after this year.

Yeah, he's an asshole, but smart. I know it won't be him though.

He's phony, a jerk, probably on PEDs and hasn't won shit. Don't want him.

It's always about compared to who though.

So Rolle thinks the Giants don't have any fight in them and that's a big reason why they're losing. That's got to be largely on Coughlin. Of course, it's on the players too, but if the coach is going to get credit for winning, he also has to get blamed for losing.
