Giants: Snee Wants to Return

Lot of talk around Giants Land today.   Hakeem Nicks met with Giant brass then reiterated that the the Giants are where he wants to be.   He also said he's keeping an eye on the coaching moves.   Looks like the OC interviews are starting tomorrow, btw.    Retired Coach Gilbride said the OL was the biggest problem, and that the Giants WR's need to be better on the outside, the Giants need a bell cow RB and a bigger faster TE.   Said Eli just couldn't operate under those conditions.

Most interesting, however, were comments from Chris Snee.   As you recall, Snee had to shut it down for hip and elbow surgeries this year.   Snee told reporters that his hip is now fine and his elbow is coming along.  What's more, he said if his body allows it, he'd like to return to the Giants if they want him.   Obviously, his contract would have to be adjusted, but this could be very good news.  We're not talking about an average guy here, but one of the greatest Giant OL's of all time.   And Snee hasn't even hit his mid thirties yet.  Anyway, a healthy Chris Snee would alleviate one of the needs along the OL and make the fix there much more manageable.  So we have to hope a healthy Chris Snee with an adjusted deal can be part of the solution next year.  Go Chris!
