More "Minor" Changes For the Yanks
The Yankees continued the remake of their A Ball coaches. The RiverDog site has announce that Luis Dorante will be the new manager. Dorante has had a lot of minor league coaching and managing experience. Hopefully he is a good teacher. Former Yankee minor league prospect Edwar Gonzalez will be the new hitting coach. He did that for FSL 2 last year and will provide some continuity for some of the young hitters starting in Charleston this year. Carlos Chantres is the new pitching coach. He's been all over the organization for the past several years, even as high as AAA, I think, yet I don't have a real good feel for his niche. Let's hope these are all great teachers and another attempt to fix the development problem that has been apparent for the last ten years or so.
