Yanks Signing Brian Roberts?

Wow.   Brian Roberts will be 36 next season, and his best year occurred when he was 27.    The intermittent seasons have been filled with injuries and injury related decline.  He's a switch hitter, so they could use him as the righty half of a platoon with Johnson as well as a defensive replacement, but, it's hard to say what's left of him.  Before the injuries, he was a good player.  And I think one of the injuries happened at Yankee Stadium when the got his arm destroyed trying to tag someone out.   Should be a cheap deal, and it would probably mean they are moving on to their hole at 3rd.
