Cruz Has Surgery

Victor Cruz was injured Sunday in an absolutely meaningless game.  The Giants have nothing to play for this December and they are rolling the dice with all of their most precious assets by continuing to play them.  Eli will presumably start agains the Lions and they will be taking another risk.   And what for?  The NFL rewards bad teams with high picks.  The Giants really shouldn't be trying to win all of a sudden.   They should be doing everything in their power to go 0-2 the rest of the way.    Of course, with the way they have played they probably will go 0-2 but they really don't need to get anyone else hurt.   They'll have lots of money to play with in of the offseason, and the higher the draft picks, the better.
