Knicks Tonight

The Knicks will begin playing their preseason games tonight as they tip off against Boston.  It's unclear who will play in this game or in any of their preseason games, because they are, to say the least, a veteran team.   You'd expect the "kids" to play a lot, but Shump has missed time with a shoulder and there just aren't a lot of other kids.   Bargnani should make his Knicks debut.   Meta may or may not, an Hardaway Jr. should also play.   We probably won't see the defensive intensity we're hoping to see during the regular season.  Also, be mindful of the Eddie Lee Wilkins Postulate which states:  if an unheard of big man goes off in a preseason game, disregard him until he has repeated his performance in a regular season game.   It doesn't matter what a guy can do against air and that's often what they're playing against in pre.   Should be fun, and nice to have them back.
