Record 7 and 1 ERA 2.54

Phil Hughes was once again dominant against the O's tonight. You can still see him figuring things out, but he still managed to go 7 strong, K'ing 7 and walking just 1. He gave up a run, but dropped his ERA down to 2.54. One of these days, he's going to start completing these shutouts instead of giving up a late run. Meanwhile, Robbie Cano extended his streak to 16 games, with three more hits including an absolute bomb to right for homer #12. Wow. Swisher also had 3 hits, and Curtis Granderson had his first 3 hit game as a Yankee. He is really heating up and playing good D, too. Jeter's streak ended, but he did walk once. Tex went 0-5 with three hard hit outs. Arod had a couple of hits as did Brett Gardner. Posada had two hits in his return. Yanks win 9-1. CC goes tomorrow and let's see if he can get straightened out. Go Yanks!
