Po Returns
Jorge Posada is back in the line-up tonight as DH. No other move has been made yet, but either Moeller or Russo will be gone. Hopefully it will be Moeller since he doesn't offer much as a bench player, while Russo does. In other news, last year's 5-tool first rounder, Slade Heathcott, has been promoted to Charleston. The young CF was 5-5 with a homer, two doubles and two singles in his last game in EST. He also threw out a runner headed home from CF. He's that kind of guy. Just 5 more days till the draft. Go Yanks!
UPDATE: Miranda was sent down. This makes some sense as Jorge can be the DH until he resumes regular catching. It still leaves us no lefty power on the bench and that will be fixed when Po can catch and Moeller is released.

Based on the what I read at LoHud, it doesn't sound like Posada will necessarily be the regular catcher again.
“I know that I can catch and I know that I can be out there,” he said. “But a lot of circumstances have come. I’m going to have to be smart about it. If I’m in the lineup, I’m happy. I would like to catch here and there sometimes, but I understand what the future holds.”
Posada said he knew when he signed his most recent contract that he might see more time at DH by the end of it. He still considers himself a catcher — “I’m not a DH yet,” he said — but after a remarkably healthy first 13 years in the big leagues, he’s now gone on the DL four times since 2008.
“Knowing that the American League has a DH, yeah, it was on my mind,” Posada said. “When you’re talking about guys that catch every day, you don’t see too many 38-year-olds catching every day. I understand what’s going on.”
That means, what I've been told about Montero is true. He'll be up later this year and we'll have 3catchers.
