Eiland Takes Leave

Pitching Coach Dave Eiland has taken and indefinite leave of absence from the Yanks. We certainly wish him the best while he deals with whatever has taken his attention. In the meantime, I'd like to see the Yanks promote Scott Aldred. For my money, he is the best pitching coach in the system, and if I recall correctly the coach who got Joba electrified back in the `06 Hawaiian Winter League. So good luck Dave, and let's see Scottie.

No matter what I think of Eiland as a pitching coach, I wish him well, but it's an opportunity to have someone else work with Joba.

I know. I just hope all is well with he and his family.

Maybe Harkey fixed Joba:

96.23
97.6

That's still not where he belongs
