Dominance

Javy Vazquez had given up 1 hit through six innings when he had to leave the game after having his finger hit on his second successful sac bunt of the game. But he was great leading up to that. The Yanks scored their only 2 runs of the game on a two run double from Kevin Russo, after an error had put Yanks on second and third. Joba got 5 outs in a row in relief. Mo gave up a run on consecutive doubles in the 9th, before getting the final out for the 2-1 Yankee win. I think Phil goes tomorrow. Go Yanks!

He pulled Russo too early. He better play everyday as long as he plays well.

Girardi also left himself very little margin for error with the bullpen management.

Girardi's gotta wise up a bit as a manager.

Winn v. Pelfrey: .100/.100/.200/.300 (10 AB)

Russo (career)

v. L: .259/.327/.349/.676
v. R: .309/.370/.417/.787

Yet Winn is starting tonight.

#Yankees Derek Jeter is batting .198 on the road, with a .494 OPS (four extra-base hits, all 2B, in 106 AB).

What's the scouting report on Adam Warren? He looks like he needs to get promoted. His GO/AO ratio these past few games is sick.

They could promote him at any time now. They probably only promoted Noesi first because he was older.
