Sorgi It Is

After things seemed to breakoff over Jim Sorgi's shoulder problem yesterday, they were apparently back on today, as the Giants have signed him to backup Eli Manning this year. Sorgi's the kind of backup you get when you're paying a franchise QB. Good fit. Go Giants!

RT @MoveTheSticks: Rolando McClain ran 4.74 at his pro day. About what most scouts thought he would run. Won't affect his status either way.

That's sucks, although I know people that have lived with it, but they aren't in the NFL.

We can't draft him at 15 given that condition.

OT, but if you want a changed man, look no further than Joba Chamberlain, whom the Yankees have utterly destroyed.

When other starters are sitting at their normal velocities, and he's sitting 89-92, that's not good.

Lots of pitchers are not sitting at their normal velo's. Hughes wasn't either yesterday. Young pitchers don't always get their best fastballs back till April or May.
